The National Office for Cyber and Information Security (NCIS) recorded a 59% increase in security incidents compared to the previous year. It also predicts a rise in them due to the revision of the European Directive and the subsequent implementation of the Network and Information Security Directive 2 (NIS2). It also states that the motivation for hackers to be aggressive is not only the geopolitical situation, but also the lower cost of implementation and the vision of a fat reward for the attacker.
