Spear phishing

is another type of email attack aimed at installing malicious malware on the computer of a specific person, company or organization. In this case, it is a completely sophisticated strategy to purposefully weaken or disable the attacker’s chosen entity.

Often normal security measures are not enough and it is very difficult to defend yourself. The preparation of the email itself is given considerable attention by the attacker.

He knows all about you…

He is familiar with the organizational structure, company culture, and company conditions. The text is written in the correct language, contains no grammatical or stylistic errors and appears very credible.

In addition to regular education, advanced email security technology is required for these cases.

Specific recommendations:

  • don’t post too much personal information in cyberspace
  • don’t open attachments to emails you didn’t ask to receive
  • reach out to experts who can implement effective security technology solutions for you
