The slogan FASTER_3.0 was created spontaneously, as is generally the case with most interesting projects. At one of the meetings our marketer brought the idea of versioning, which is common in the IT world, and wanted to use it to materialize the new generation of the company. The management appreciated the idea and took it to a genius level: “Let’s jump straight to three!” It was easy to say. So we laughed and continued brainstorming. “Hmm, we’re building a third datacenter next year!” and the team discussion continued… “Plus, we’re celebrating 30 years since our founding.” Great timing, I’m sure we’ll come up with other connections. Sometimes you don’t see into the future and you only appreciate the links to an idea as time goes on.

In October 2023, we launched cyber breakfasts for business partners to train and prepare everyone for the NIS2 directive, to update them on the latest developments in cyber attacks, and to focus on threat prevention and effective defence, including practical examples.
In November 2023, we launched a new customer portal, which not only changed its design and user-friendliness, but compared to the previous version, it can be logged in using OTP and offers customers an overview of purchased services (internet connections, VoIP portal) for billing. And further development of the portal is in process.
The optical telegraph is known already in ancient times. Its semaphore form was developed in 1792 by Claude Chappe. This system of towers was historically used for long-distance communication, linking cities with their stations. So why mention it? Everyone in Faster loves the charm of yesteryear while also using modern technology. We’re kissed by a Buick Elektra or a Mazda MX5, often nostalgic and fond of reminiscing about the old days. So why shouldn’t this passion for history and technological developments seep into our service presentation? Communication and the flow of data has come a huge way and we want to be a vehicle for this exceptional progress.
In February 2024, we are growing and we are building a third data centre (DC III) on Jarní Street in Brno, because we have more and more customers and we want to offer them exclusive spaces for technology and services. The study of the entire project is a long-term process and Faster is upgrading to faster_3.0 this year.
In March 2024, we are finalizing a new website whose greatest value is the backend. Visitors will appreciate the innovative design, which links history with the present and offers a clearer presentation of our services. We’ve dug into history and connected it to the present as a thank you for this amazing telecommunications journey.
In September 2024 we celebrate 30 years since the company was founded, and for us this is a big event that deserves year-round attention. We’ve been living this anniversary since the autumn of 2023, when the idea for the anniversary t-shirt design was conceived and planning for a huge celebration got underway early in the new year – you have a lot to look forward to!
