Terms and conditions of data services
via wireless Wi-Fi network by Faster CZ spol. s r.o. in accordance with the provisions of § 1751 of the Civil Code (hereinafter referred to as the general terms and conditions)
I. Introductory provisions
Glossary of terms:
a) Internet – a worldwide system of interconnected computer networks
b) Authorization – the process of successfully or unsuccessfully connecting to the Internet via the Faster network
c) Faster Network – a WiFi network or LAN computer network with hotspot capability providing access to the Internet
d) Provider – Faster CZ, spol. s r.o., Jarní 44g, Brno 614 00, ID No.: 60722266
e) User – a natural person using the services of the Faster provider’s network via his/her device.
II. Subject of general terms and conditions
- The subject of these general terms and conditions is the negotiation of binding conditions that the user will follow during the use of the provider’s services.
III. Personal data
- If the user provides personal data, it may be used in the manner set out in the privacy statement (see paragraph VIII) of these general terms and conditions.
IV. User statement
- The User undertakes not to act in any way through the Faster network that could be illegal or encourage others to act illegally. In particular, he/she agrees not to violate intellectual property rights, not to disclose confidential or otherwise sensitive information, and not to engage in any criminal activity or encourage others to do so. User agrees not to act through the Faster Network in a manner that is harassing, abusive, threatening, obscene, rude, racist, sexist or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate. Will not impersonate another person. Will not collect email addresses or other personal information, and will not use the Faster network to send spam. User agrees not to use the Faster network in a way that affects the operation of the Faster network or other technology connected to it (e.g., other users’ devices). In particular, he/she will not upload or download very large files and will make sure that the device is protected by the latest version of antivirus software. The user will make sure that their device complies with the law and prescribed standards. The user must make sure that his device has all the necessary licenses before connecting to the network and also that his device is compatible.
V. User responsibility
- The user shall be liable for any damages, losses, costs or expenses incurred by the provider arising from any breach of these terms by the user (for example, if the user uses the network to infringe copyright or commit a crime). In the event that the user’s actions fall into violation of these terms of use, the provider may provide assistance to law enforcement or official authorities upon request of the relevant authorities. The user’s liability is not limited in any way by these terms of use.
VI. User rights
- The user has the right to use the data services via the Faster network in a manner that does not conflict with these general terms and conditions.

VII. Network functionality
- Network Faster is a service using a connection to the public internet network, which is not charged in any way by the provider to the user. For technical, legal and operational reasons, availability is not guaranteed. The provider may also suspend the user’s access at any time at its discretion without liability to the User and without giving any reason. User uses the Faster network at its own risk. provider shall not be liable for any damages, losses, costs or expenses arising from the use of the Faster network, its malfunction, loss or corruption of data. Use of the Faster network is not enforceable or otherwise enforceable.
VIII. Privacy policy statement
Faster CZ spol. s r o. processes personal data in accordance with applicable legislation, i.e. until 24 May 2018 in accordance with Act No. 101/2000 Coll. (personal data protection act) and with effect from 25 May 2018 in accordance with regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data), which in some respects replaces the act.
Faster CZ obtains the following information for the purpose of fulfilling the conditions for operating a free wifi network:
- device connection time
- the location of the device connection
- MAC address of the connected device
- the amount of data downloaded
The purpose of the data acquisition is to meet the operational conditions of the free wifi network, in particular to prevent abuse of the free wifi connection by overloading it.
The user has the right to know what personal data we collect, for what purpose we use it and also to influence its use. He has the right to have them changed or to request their deletion.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the User consents to the processing of the aforementioned personal data.
IX. Agreement to the general terms and conditions
- By checking the option “I agree to the general terms and conditions of use of the Faster wifi network” before actually connecting to the Internet via the Faster network, the user confirms that he/she is familiar with and agrees to these general terms and conditions.
- If the user does not agree to the general terms and conditions for any reason at least in one point, he/she may not use the Faster network.
X. Effectiveness and amendment of declarations
- The provider reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions at any time. They will then take effect upon publication on the Faster web portal.
